STEP 1: Sew The Handle
- Take the handle panel and hold the straight long edges wrong sides together; hold them with clips.
- Sew the straight long edge with a 1/8” seam allowance.
- Now, push the handle cord through your Handle Panel.
- Use the Handle Cover to cover the short edges of the Handle as shown. You can use super glue to hold that down in place.
- Optionally: Use edge coat to give your Handle’s edge a professional look. Alternatively, if you do not have Edge Coat like me, [learn how to do Edge coating without using Edge Coat].
- Set the short edges of the Handle Panel on the main panel using the marks indicated on Pattern Piece A.
- Sew the curved short edges of the Handle Panel with a 1/8” seam allowance.

STEP 2: Sew The Belt Panel
- Set the Belt Panel on the main panel using the marks indicated on Pattern Piece A.
- Sew the short edges of the Belt Panel with a 1/8” seam allowance.

STEP 3: Install the Magnetic Snaps
- Install the female part of the magnetic snap on the Front Panel using the mark indicated on Pattern Piece B.
- Set the Magnetic Snap Cover piece on the wrong side of the installed magnetic snap using the mark indicated on Pattern Piece E; sew it with a 1/8” seam allowance.
- Install the male part of the magnetic snap on the Inner Flap Panel at 1.5” from one short edge and 0.75” from the long edge.
- Repeat the previous step to install the second male magnetic snap on the opposite end of the Inner Flap Panel.

STEP 4: Sew the Inner Flap Panel
- Center the top edge of the Main Panel on the long edge of the Inner Flap Panel that has the magnetic snaps, and clip them in place.
- Sew around the top and flap area of the Main Panel with a 1/8” seam allowance.
- Trim off the excess Inner Flap Panel to the edge of the Main Panel.

STEP 5: Install the D-ring Connector
- Using the mark indicated on Pattern Piece E, install your D-ring Connector.
STEP 6: Sew the Gusset
- Take the two Side Panels and the Base Panel.
- Hold the bottom edge of one Side Panel and one short edge of the Base Panel right sides together and clip them in place.
- Repeat the previous step for the bottom edge of the second Side Panel and the other short edge of the Base Panel.
- Sew the clipped edges with a 1/8” seam allowance.
- This will now be referred to as the GUSSET.

STEP 7: Assemble the Bag
- Take the gusset and align one long edge with the sides and bottom edge of the Front Panel; clip it in place.
- Sew the clipped edges with a 1/8” seam allowance.
- Clip the remaining long edge of the gusset with the sides and bottom edge of the Main Panel as shown.
- Sew the clipped edges with a 1/8” seam allowance.
- Optionally: Use edge coat to give your edges a professional look. Alternatively, if you do not have Edge Coat, [learn how to do Edge coating without using Edge Coat].

STEP 8: Sew the Long Strap
- Fold the Long Strap wrong sides together, aligning the long edges, and use clips to hold them in place.
- Sew with a 1/8″ (0.3cm) seam allowance all around the Long Strap.
- Optionally: Use edge coat for a professional look. If you do not have Edge Coat, [learn how to do Edge coating without using Edge Coat].
- Thread one end of the Long Strap over and through the center bar of a slider.
- Slide on a swivel hook from the free end of the Long Strap towards the installed slider.
- Now, thread the end you are still working with over and through the center bar of the slider again. It should be underneath the one you threaded before, as shown in the photo.
- Slide the free end of the Long Strap through another swivel hook until it’s 1½” (4cm) from the end, and clip it in place by folding the strap together.
- Sew WST (Wrong Sides Together) or use rivets to hold them in place. Also, fold the other raw edge and sew WST or use a rivet to hold it in place.

- Handle Cord: (11”) For adding structure to the handle.

- D-Ring Connector: (2) To connect the long strap

- Swivel Hooks: (2) For the long strap.

- Strap Slider: (1) To make the strap adjustable.

- Magnetic Snaps: (2)

- Rivets: (4) To secure strap ends.

- Super Glue (Optional): To secure the handle covers.
- Edge Finish: Your soldering iron (or Edge Coat).
